IRON WOOD
This collection of Iron Wood figurines comes from the State of
Sonora, Mx.
This art is done and carved by hand by the Yaqui Indians. The wood that
they use is called Palo Fierro and it is a very strong wood and it is hard to
carve into it. This kind of trees are only seen in Sonora, so only in this
part of the Country can you find this figurines carved by expert Yaqui
hands.
